Most people in the UK have spoken to Moneypenny without even realising. The world-leader in telephone answering, live chat and outsourced switchboard solutions, the company provides talented people and cutting-edge technology to ensure exemplary customer contact for clients across the UK and US.
Moneypenny has achieved impressive growth over the years. Set up by Rachel and her brother Ed Reeves in 2000, today the company looks after 10 million calls or contacts a year – on behalf of 10,000 businesses. It is growing at a rate of 20% year-on-year. All of this has happened while being a Top 5 Best Company To Work For, expanding to the US and building an award-winning head office – known as ‘the happiest office in the land’.
In 2014 the company established its own charity, WeMindTheGap, to provide holistic, paid traineeships to young unemployed women. Such has been the success of these traineeships – seven out of ten of participants move into full-time work or education – that the charity is expanding to deliver in new communities.
Rachel says one of the biggest joys of Moneypenny is witnessing members of the team achieve amazing things with the right support. Her advice is to: “Ask ‘what would I do if I wasn’t afraid?’ And then do that.”
