Managing Director, Bluecrest Wellness
The World Economic Forum has published research showing that companies that invest in their staff’s wellbeing are three times more likely to be productive, and four times more likely to retain talent.
The research will have come as old news to Peter Blencowe, who has overseen the growth of Bluecrest Wellness into the largest network of health screening clinics in the UK and Ireland.
Assessments and solutions offered by Bluecrest allow organisations to better understand the wellbeing of their people, with anonymised data that can be analysed and solutions tailored for individual office locations of its clients.
“A good business constantly innovates and evolves – remaining open minded to new opportunities,” replies Peter when asked for some of the defining characteristics of successful businesses. He adds, “Recruiting and retaining great people gives the freedom to perform and provides the foundations for a successful enterprise.”
The company’s growth combined with its positive impact on people’s lives reflects Peter’s ethos, which he outlines as follows: “I’m a passionate believer in ‘profits-with-purpose’ and responsible companies care about the health and wellbeing of their people. It makes for a healthier, happier and more productive workplace.”
