Founder and Managing Director, Oliver Bonas
Stroll into any Oliver Bonas store and you’ll be greeted with a range of high quality and imaginative products. Influenced by his creative upbringing and frequent travels, Oliver Tress founded Oliver Bonas after bringing back gifts for his friends from abroad.
Oliver Bonas has grown leaps and bounds since 1993 when the first shop opened: 24% turnover growth in 2013, 30% in 2014, and 40% in 2015. From 2007-2015, the workforce has grown from 108 to more than 600. The firm is now exploring international expansion opportunities.
The business also has a strong commitment to helping solve social issues. It has partnered with the Eve Appeal for 2017 and 2018, the only UK charity focusing on all five types of gynaecological cancers. Oliver Bonas was also the first London highstreet retailer to pay the voluntary living wage of £7.85.
“We are in the business of making people happy,” says Oliver.
