CEO and Co-founder, Runway East
Natasha Guerra launched Runway East in 2014 to bring the brightest start-ups together so they could share ideas, expertise and resources. “Coworking spaces are about building a community,” says Natasha, “Fostering collaboration provides an environment in which people can access the mentoring and support from peers, investors, and others that helps them and their companies to grow and develop.”
What began as an 80-person pop-up has swiftly turned into a multi-location coworking operator that boasts more than 1,200 members.
Having seen her startup members attract more than £250 million in venture funding since 2014, Natasha is optimistic about the future. “Playing an important role in the development of our clients’ businesses, seeing them reach their full potential, that’s all I want to see,” she says. “If Runway East’s members are doing well than the rest follows naturally.”
Alongside her position at Runway East, Natasha is Board Director of the International Conclave of Entrepreneurs, a collection of 300 founders, investors, and start-up leaders all passionate about sharing ideas. In addition, she was included in this year’s Business Cloud ‘35 Tech Entrepreneurs Under 35’ and Management Today ‘35 Women Under 35′.
On a vibrant economy, she says, “For me, the country can only truly succeed if we look beyond London. Unlocking the potential of people and businesses across the whole of the UK is something we should all be working together to do.”
