Joëlle Warren MBE
“Warren Partners’ core values are about adopting an ethical approach and treating others as you want to be treated. These values are just as tangible in the business today as they were when I founded [the business] in 1999,” she says.
The business is well known for proactively promoting candidate diversity, receiving industry and government accreditation for its work. For Joëlle, being made an MBE in 2016 for services to business was “validation that you can succeed in business with a values-led approach without losing in life”. That said, she’s equally proud of her 30-year marriage, relationship with her sons and the roles she plays in her local community.

Under Joëlle’s leadership, Warren Partners donates a percentage of its profits to charity, undertakes pro bono work for charitable organisations, provides office accommodation for the local community foundation (which Joëlle chairs) and encourages staff to volunteer in a variety of projects.
She also makes a personal commitment to giving back, serving as Her Majesty’s Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Cheshire and also vice-chair of the Two Percent Club North West, a professionals club that aims to promote gender diversity on executive boards.
