Founder and CEO, Tech Will Save Us
Bethany Koby is a mum, CEO, designer, art director and entrepreneur. She creates products and experiences for a more positive and collaborative future.
In 2013, Bethany co-founded Tech Will Save Us based on a radical premise: what if kids built the toys they play with, and learned about technology in the process? With her co-founder, Daniel Hirschmann, Bethany created the now iconic kits and play experiences, the most accessible (and fun) way for kids, families, and educators to learn, play, and invent with technology.
The kits are celebrated for their design and learning outcomes, winning global awards such as the Design Innovation of the Year from Fast Company and D&AD Impact Awards, as well as a shortlist honour for Toy of the Year at the New York Toy Fair. The kits are part of the permanent collection in the London Design Museum; in 2014 the Museum of Modern Art in New York acquired the Gamer Kit for its permanent ‘Humble Masterpieces’ collection.
As CEO, Bethany is responsible for the company’s strategic growth and partnerships. Perhaps her most important role is making sure every product and service Tech Will Save Us creates directly empowers parents and inspires kids.
